Baby Shower Gift Boxes

Thought I would share with you some boxes I made yesterday for 2 friends who are due to have a baby within the next month. We are having a Mothers Group combined baby shower for them both so we all throw in $5 and give them a little gift from all of us and then when the baby is born we all do our own gifts.
I was on present duty and below are some photos of a box I made to fit in the goodies - 3 little outfits, some chocolate and a gift voucher for a beauty salon.
The boxes measure 15cm depth x 12.5cm width x 8cm tall:

First Christmas Card

I thought I would share with you my first Christmas Card ... yes you would notice that I made a Christmas card for a JAI challenge but that was all it was for ... this card is to sell at the craft fair and some for family and friends.

I have made it pretty simple but with a little 'bling' (yes I actually have some LOL) on the tips of the tree branches, looks really sparkly in person but can't really see it in the photo. I have also used the Manhattan FLower Embossing folder in the background on the Real Red Card Stock.

Look out for lots more Christmas cards in the coming weeks and months, I have LOTS to make :) !!!

Stamp Set: Lovely as a Tree, Contempo Christmas

Card Stock: Real Red, Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss (retired, should have been Old Olive but I have run out and it is on order)

Accessories: Big Shot Manhattan Flower Embossing Folder, Old Olive Stamp Pad, Real Red Stamp Pad, Sponge Daubers, Real Red 1.6cm Grosgrain Ribbon, Fine Supernove Olive Glitter , Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Snail, Sticky Strip

Hubby's Fathers Day Card

WHOOPS, today is Fathers Day and thank goodness my Hubby is working as I totally forgot to make him a special card, I have a few Fathers day cards left from the craft fair but it is always nicer to have a different one for him (I would prefer him home though).
Mr 2 didn't want to sleep today so I got him out of bed and gave him some whisper white card stock and told him to colour away, then I coloured in his hands and put a hand print over the top. Once the "ARTWORK" was complete it was my turn to make it into a card. I have made it A5 and the plan is to get it framed.

Here it is:

Stamp Set: Wonderful Favourites

Card Stock: Night of Navy, Chocolate Chip, More Mustard, Whisper White

Accessories: Big Shot Polka Dots, Choc Chip Stamp Pad, Ribbon (Choc Chip Grosgrain, Double Stitched retired), Linen Thread, SNAIL, Mr 2 Artwork LOL.

Birthday Cards

Here are a couple of Birthday cards that I have made during the week. They both are using a mixture of New and Retired Stampin' Up! stock.
I am not going to put the card details below but if you are interested in knowing any of the details please contact me.

Hope you like them, have a great day :-) !!!
