Braying - 2nd Attempt

I really wanted to show you a gorgeous card that I have made for my older sister but unfortunately she hasn't turned 30 yet, that's next week end so I will have to post that photo then.

For now you will need to be happy with looking at my second attempt at with the brayer ... once again I am estatic with the way it ended up. There are a few mistakes. One that is damn obvious and the other actually added to the card. I am not going to tell you either of them but no doubt you will spot the obvious one :-).

Enjoy looking and look forward to your comments.
Now the details of the card area a little blurry... not quite sure why but I can't remember the colours I have used. The Stamp Set is retired (Asian Artistry L2) and button from old stock.
Card Stock is: Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White.
I have used the Top Note Die, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and Lots of Tags Sizzlets through the Big Shot.
Some Satin Ribbon, a bit of Linen Thread, and oval punch and TAA DAA a card.... not forgetting adhesives, Snail, Sticky Strip and Dimensionals etc.

Anyway hope you like it all and will try and post again in the not too distant future... so much going on right now because we are in the process of moving house, not just down the road though, to a totally different State so big clean out happening! EEEkkkkk (fingers crossed Hubby doesn't find his way into the craftroomo LOL)

Owl Note Card

Just thought I would quickly show you a lovely little note card that I made to go with some flowers for a friend that has just had a little baby girl.
Most of the card is using retired stock so I won't put all the details but the cute little owl is using the NEW 2-step Owl Punch, the branch is from the NEW 2-step Bird Punch and I also used the NEW Scallop Trim Border Punch.

The BIG Three 0!!!

I have a lovely 'new' friend that moved to town not that long ago ... Just in time too as she has just turned 30 and we are able to help her celebrate!!!

I had so much fun making her card. I pulled out lots of items that either I had never used or used minimal times. I also attemped my second easel card. The easel cards just look so special!

I really wanted to put on 30 balloons but not enough space - Still looks great though :-).

I am really happy with the way the card turned out as I was making it at 4am in the morning due to my son being very sick and spewing all night I decided to make use of the time while I was awake, here is the card:

Stamp Set: None

Card Stock: Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist, Whisper White, DSP Greenhouse Gala

Big Shot: Elegant Lines Embossing Folder, Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Timeless Type Junior Alphabet Sizzlits.

Accessories: Ribbon (Daffodil Deight 3.2cm Striped Grosgrain, Marina Mist Satin), Rhinestone Jewels, Rhinestone Brad Circle Fire, Linen Thread, Sticky Strip, Snail, Dimensionals, old balloon punch.
HAPPY 30th *Smiles and Hugs* for you!!!

2 Step Bird Punch

I have made the below card for a little one year old. This is the first time I have used my 2 step bird punch - such a cute bird!!! I have popped the bird up on dimensionals and then also the wing and it gives it a great 3d look.

I have used the gorgeous Sweet and Sour Specialty DSP, it has a glossy image on one side which is the side with the polka dots on the bird. It gives it a really lovely shimmer look.

I also pulled out a retired stamp set from the 2010 Autumn/Winter mini as I thought the saying very appropriate.

Oh and I am just loving the striped ribbon and satin ribbons - expect to see LOTS of cards with these ribbons (actually to tell you the truth I LOVE all the ribbons but at the moment these would be the ones I go to first)

Hope you like looking:
